Keep in mind every company is different on all of these things. Some companies believe they need to act, look, and feel a certain type of way but that is what makes us all different.

Liquid Death, Chick-fil-a, and Dunkin’ Donuts are all powerful brands, but their branding approaches couldn’t be more different. Each one speaks to a distinct audience, operates with a unique tone and identity, and fulfills a different emotional and lifestyle role in the customer’s mind. Three well establish and sucessful companies in the food and beverage industry, but completely different at the same time.

As you can see and read above Branding is important for any company that is just starting out, has been in business for years, or in the process of rebranding for many reasons such as an acqusition and merger. It matters because it builds trust and credibility, creates an emotional connection, differeniates you from the competition, and sets the stage for all future marketing efforts. Furthermore, branding can change or evolve over time.

In fact, brand evolution is a natural and often nexessary part of growth. Whether you’re adjusting to a new audience, entering a new market, or responding to cultural shifts, evolving your brand helps you stay relevant and compeitive. It includes all the strategies, tools, and tactics you use to promote your business, attract leads, and drive sales. You will see marketing through many avenues such as social media platforms, emails, search Engine Optimization (“SEO”), paid advertisement (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.), events, billboards, and sponsorships. Branding can change, however, evolution typically happens over time. Marketing on the other hand is constantly changing as its tactical and campaign-driven. You can change a marketing strategy overnight — but your brand is build over time. 

Again, marketing campaigns and stratgies can be changed on the fly because your marketing officer or managers will notice certain trends on the platforms you are using. As you develop your social media marketing campaign you may notice similar style posts getting more visibility than others or a certain audience is looking at specific posts. So, as a smart marketing agency or manager your job is to add additional marketing content around those focuses. Marketing is collecting analytics to better your marketing focus to the location, audience, demographic it is reaching.
